Girls Night + Make-up Party + Skin Care + Lots of Wine = A Lot of Fun!
I love nothing more than girl time. It gives us a chance to catch up on all the gossip from boys to work, funny stories and oh, did I mention boys? So I had my best girls over Kym , Miss Mary and Miriam to show them a great make-up time.
As a new part of my business, I have started make-up parties where I will come to your home and give you lots of beauty ideas, treatments and techniques for you and your friends. My primary focus is professional:
- Skin care
- Make-up styles
- Make-up techniques
- Fake tan application / Fake-lash application
Sometimes you just need private time with your friends away from the city to decompress and replenish!
I had a marvelous time catching up on life and showing my girls a pampered evening.
All three ladies wanted eyes to pop and their skin to glow. They also just wanted to try something new and special.
So I got to work giving the girls mini facials. Mary said she felt like the subway had been removed from her face!
For today, my focus will be the technique applied for the eyes. Giving the girls an individual eye-popping look was easy as they have such pretty eyes, I even gave them manicures.
“Kym”
Kym was super scared of color but she really wanted to try something new. Kym has beautiful big pretty eyes. I really wanted to enhance her natural beauty in a fun new way for her. So I chose purple and it turned out wonderful. She loved it!
I used Clinique’s Cream Sharper for eyes in Starry Plum $15 to start the eye with a creamy purple eye pencil covering the whole eye lid and smudging it in. Next, I applied my purple eye shadow using Urban Decay’s Ransom Vibrant Iridescent Purple $18. I built the pigment very strongly on top all over the eye lid and under, extending from the eye crease to the other corner. Using Pigment Mattese Elite Dust Powder in Purple Haze $13, I applied the dark purple pigment in the center of the eye lid and blended, just to give that extra pop and sparkle. I finished by curling the lashes. I applied 3 coats of mascara.
“Charlotte works to enhance the your features with make-up that makes you look fresh, pretty and the best version of you. You never look overdone. Her make-up application is masterful, tasteful and thoughtful.”
“Mary”
Mary wanted a more sultry look to pump up the sex appeal. I started with a golden bronze base, all over the eye lid by using Lancome Gold Riche $10.
Then, building on top I used Loreal’s Infallible in Midnight Blue $6-$8. Blue hues are great to bring out brown
toned eyes to make the eyes pop. I built this color very strongly as Mary has hazel eyes. I brought the blue eye shadow under the under the eye to create a smoking look. Then I took my MAC Black Kohl Pencil $15 for the inner rim, lower rim and the upper lash line. To get that super sex appeal, I smudged it out finishing the eye look with 3 coats of mascara.
“Charlotte does not just do make-up, she creates art!”
“Miriam”
Miriam wanted some old school Hollywood glamour so I prepped the eyes and decided to go for cream shadows by Benefit to achieve this look. I used Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Flatter Me $14-$19. I applied the cream based gold shadow all over the eye lid up to the the brow bone. For the eye lid base, I also used Benefits’ Creaseless Cream Shadow in Skinny Jeans $14-19 which was an emerald green just over the eye lid. With a flat brush, I built Sephora’s Argent Silver Eye Shadow $16 on top and under the eye lash. I built the color very strongly, then using my MAC Black Kohl Pencil $15 in the inner rim of the eye. I finished with 3 coats of mascara. Her eyes were dazzling!
“Charlotte was beyond professional,
personable and all around delicate.”
We finished our evening at a local bar feeling super confident and beautiful. We had so much fun! It was a different and special way to spend our girls night.
Make-up brings girls together. X
